Pre-Screening Feature


Recruiter / Employer Page

Step 1:

  • Go to Candidate Page
  • Click on the “+” or the “+ Add Candidate” to add a new Candidate

Step 2:

  • Recruiter/employer will then be prompt to add the required information about the Candidate

Request Pre-Screen

Step 3:

  • Once Candidate is added click on their profile
  • Click on the “Pre-Screening” option
  • Then click “Pre-Screening Request”

Step 4:

  • Next, you will be prompt to choose a Question Set to send to the Candidate
  • Once chosen click “Submit”

Pre-Screen Quick Request

  • Alternatively, recruiter/employer can submit a “Quick Request”
  • Click “Quick Request” in the top left corner to do so
  • Click the “Pre-screening” option
  • Fill out the Candidate information
  • Choose a Question Set
  • “Submit” your request

Pre-Screen Question Set

Step 5:

  • The Candidate will receive a customizable notification (email and text) that will re-route them to the pre-screen question set when clicked

Step 6:

  • Candidate will then be able to fill out the pre-screen questions

Step 7:

  • Once all of the required fields are filled out the Candidate can then submit the pre-screen form

Step 8:

  • Once submitted a Thank-You message will appear confirming that the form was completed

Pre-Screen Summary / PDF Report

Step 9:

  • Once the form is completed the recruiter/employer will receive a confirmation email
  • Recruiter/employer will then be able to view the results

Step 10:

  • Recruiter/employer will be re-routed to the Candidate profile in the Vitay app
  • Here you can view the Candidates profile along with the completed report and corresponding score
  • Recruiter/employer can click the “Download Report” button to view final PDF

Step 11:

  • Once downloaded, the report will be viewable in PDF form
  • Company logo/branding will be included in the report
  • In the report, you will be able to view an overall analysis
  • The report will show all recorded answers

Create a Pre-Screen Question Set

  • To create a Question Set, click “Question Sets”
  • Then click the “+” button
  • The “Add Question Set” pop-up will appear
  • Choose a name for your question set
  • Click “Pre-screening” under type
  • Click “Submit”
  • You will then be brought to the newly created question set page
  • Click the “+” to start adding questions

Edit Pre-Screen Question Set

  • Go to “Question Sets”
  • Click on the desired question set
  • Next, click on the question you would like to edit
  • An “Edit Question” pop-up will appear
  • Enter desired changes to question
  • Click “Save” when completed

Feedback Feature


Request Feedback

Step 1:

  • Go to the “Candidates” page
  • Then click on desired Candidate
  • Click “Feedback” section
  • Then click “Feedback Request”

Step 2:

  • Once the “Feedback Request” pop-up appears choose either “Candidate” or “Employer”
  • Note: You can either request feedback from the Candidate to comment on experience with Employer OR you can request feedback from Employer to comment on new Candidate
  • Choose a Question Set
  • Click “Submit”

Feedback Quick Request

  • Alternatively, recruiter can submit a “Quick Request”
  • Click “Quick Request” to do so
  • Click the “Feedback” option
  • Fill out the Candidate information
  • Choose a Question Set
  • “Submit” your request

Feedback Question Set

Step 3:

  • The Candidate/Employer will receive a customizable notification (email and text) that will re-route them to the feedback question set when clicked

Step 4:

  • Candidate/ Employer will then be able to fill out the Feedback form

Step 5:

  • Once all of the required fields are filled out the Candidate/Employer can then submit the Feedback form

Step 6:

Once submitted a Thank You message will appear confirming that the form was completed


Feedback Summary / PDF Report

Step 7:

  • Once the form is completed the recruiter will receive a confirmation email
  • Recruiter will then be able to view the results

Step 8:

  • Recruiter will be re-routed to the Candidate profile in the VITAY app
  • Here you can view the Candidates profile along with the completed report and corresponding score
  • Recruiter can then click on the completed Feedback form

Step 9:

  • The completed Feedback Questions will pop-up
  • To download the complete PDF report click the “Download Report” button

Step 10:

  • Once downloaded the report will be viewable in PDF form
  • Company logo/branding will be included in the report
  • In the report, you will be able to view an overall analysis
  • The report will show all recorded answers

Create Feedback Question Set

  • Go to “Question Sets”
  • Click the “+” to create a new question set
  • Choose a name for your Question Set
  • Choose either the “Candidates” or “Employers” depending on who you want to request feedback from
  • Once required fields are filled in click “Submit”
  • New question set will be listed under “Question Sets”

Edit Feedback Question Set

  • Go to “Question Sets”
  • Click on the set of questions you would like to edit
  • The “Edit Question” pop-up will appear
  • Make desired edits
  • Click “Save”
